A layout under construction replacing the former Much Hasling.

It is envisaged that Ashfield was truncated by BR and is now home to a preservation society , with BR retaining a skeleton passenger and freight service. There is a single track branch line running to an industrial estate (off scene). This enables a wide range of locos and stock to be used.
