Cadeverton depicts an ex-GWR cross country branch line, The track plan is a mirror image of Thornverton and the buildings are scale models of those at Cadeleigh and Thornverton on the former Exe Valley line in Devon.

The research was started in 1987 and layout building soon followed.

The track and point work are all hand made. Stock is mostly kit built with some scratch built and modified Tri-ang.
