Whitwick

Whitwick is a rebuild of my previous layout 'Theobald Shed & Scrap Yard'

Both layouts are fictional places based in West Yorkshire during the 1960's

I lived on the outskirts of Huddersfield in the late 1950's and 60's.

My school was only 10 minutes from Huddersfield Station and I spent many of my lunch breaks watching the trains coming and going.

Whitwick is powered by Gaugemaster Prodigy Advance 2; with mostly real sound loco's and some without, of which I run a combination of steam and early diesel during the changeover years

The layout size is 18ft x 1.6 ft including fiddle yards at each end and controlled by 1 operators.
